The Midwest Summit is a two-day, hands-on conference focusing on integrating Google for Education in K-12 and Higher Ed learning environments. All presentations will be from Google for Education Certified Innovators and Certified Trainers, and local Googley talent!

Kevin Michael has been an educator for over 15 years, with experience ranging from pre-K through high school. He currently works as an Instructional Technology Coach in Park Ridge-Niles School District 64, and previously taught in his own classroom for 10 years (grades 4/5). Kevin is passionate about education, having grown up in a family of teachers. He is also passionate about technology, having grown up as a nerdy kid in the ‘80s. As a tech coach, Kevin works with elementary and middle school teachers to promote the use of the 4 C’s and inquiry-based learning in classrooms. As a parent, he (along with his wife Jenny) encourages his daughters to be creative, innovative, compassionate, and kind. Kevin has a Masters of Education from Roosevelt University, has completed ELL and Middle School endorsement programs, and is a Google Level 2 Certified Educator.
