My passion is to engage, build, and promote a culture of learning through compassionate, reflective, and impactful practices. I have been an instructional tech specialist since fall of 2017, and I bring with me 7 years of middle school ELA and 3 years of middle school science teaching in a mostly low-income, culturally diverse community. I carry into my EdTech work my own experiences as an exhausted yet happy dad of three (Ryan-8, Eleanor-4, and Clara-2). I also work to build up and maintain a middle school Maker club to keep connections to the students in our district. If we have a chance to meet, expect me to do more listening than talking.
